FABRI FILIUS

Handcrafted for the Generations

Here at Fabri Filius, I seek to craft beautiful products that will last for many generations. It is my desire and hopes to be a part of the movement for the restoration of beauty in the Universal and Domestic Church.

O Glorious St. Joseph

Model of all those who are devoted to labor, obtain for me the grace to work in a spirit of penance for the expiation of my many sins; to work conscientiously, putting the call of duty above my natural inclinations; to work with thankfulness and joy, considering it an honor to employ and develop by means of labor the gifts received from God; to work with order, peace, moderation and patience, never shrinking from weariness and trials; to work above all with purity of intention and detachment from self, keeping unceasingly before my eyes death and the account that I must give of time lost, talents unused, good omitted, and vain complacency in success, so fatal to the work of God.

All for Jesus, all through Mary, all after thy example, O Patriarch, Saint Joseph.

Such shall be my motto in life and in death.

Amen

ABOUT

Welcome to my site and thank you very much for taking the time to look through the artwork.

Much of my work is a hybrid production using modern tools and traditional hand tools. There is no Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining involved in my work as I wish to remain as close as possible to authentically handcrafted pieces of art. My goal and hope are to produce furniture and artwork that will inspire our future generations to ponder upon the beauty and the ways of God.

I also provide custom cabinets or furniture for the home that will help the space become more beautiful and functional.

Please feel free to look through the site at the work that I've completed in the past and if you feel that we may be a good fit, I would be more than happy to help you on your project.

Those who perceive in themselves... the artistic vocation as poet, writer, sculptor, painter, musician, and actor feel at the same time an obligation not to waste this talent but to develop it, in order to put it to service of their neighbour and the humanity as a whole.
